How are copays determined?

Your insurance company sets your copays, depending on the type of plan you have. If you are part of an HMO, you may have fixed copays. In other situations, you may have a type of payment called coinsurance, where you pay a percentage of the medication cost. It is recommended that you contact your insurance company if you are not clear about how much your copays will be.

How much will my copays be? Will they change if I switch to MedBox?

No, your copays should remain the same as what you would pay for a 30-day supply at your local retail pharmacy. Your copays are set by your insurance company and should not change if you switch pharmacies.

What happens if the MedBox dispenser is damaged or lost – is there a replacement fee?

The MedBox dispensers are made from quality materials, designed to be durable and resist damage under normal usage. In the event of loss or damage, however, we can offer a replacement at a minimal cost of $30.
