Are there additional costs for these MedBoxes?
No, your premium dispenser will be shipped to you for free. Please do not dispose of your dispenser, as you will use it with your next refills.
What happens if a box is damaged or lost - is there a replacement fee?
MedBoxes can be replaced for a $10 fee.
What is MedBox?
MedBox is an innovative pharmacy solution that makes it easy for anyone to manage multiple medications. Medication and regimen compliance can have a tremendous impact on the quality and length of life, health outcomes, and overall healthcare costs.
Our state-of-the-art pharmacy pre-packs doses into individual packets with printed date and time that fit your lifestyle and prescription. The pre-sorted individual pill bags are easy to use. Simply follow the date and time and tear off one bag at a time for your next dose of medicine. MedBox can improve health outcomes and prevent hospitalization.

How much does MedBox cost?
MedBox is a service our pharmacy provides at no additional cost, so there’s no change in insurance, co-pays, or out-of-pocket costs. Delivery is also free. You will only be responsible for regular copays you may have on your medications, if any.
How much will my co-pays be?

What if I travel regularly?
Your MedBox will follow you as you travel. As long as you reside in a covered state, we’re able to deliver your medications to you while traveling (even to uncovered states). Just keep in touch, and let us know where you would like it delivered!
Will you split my pills for me?
Yes, we can.
How does MedBox manage my Refills?
With MedBox you will never have to remember to call in for a refill, we will automatically fill your MedBox before you are out of medication and deliver it right to your door.
I am out of medication; can you please send it right away?
Yes. We can send it right away. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to assist you.
Can vitamins/supplements/over-the-counter medications be included in my MedBox?
Yes, we can include your vitamins and supplements in your MedBox.
How is AmeriPharma MedBox dispensed?
Each packet is dispensed exactly as your medications are prescribed by your physician and each dose is approved by a licensed pharmacist.
How Do I Receive “As-Needed” Medications?
You can also order your “as-needed” medications along with your MedBox. “As-needed” medications will come in a standard pill bottle instead of time-labeled packets.
I’m a caregiver. Can I sign up my loved one?
Yes, you can. Signing up for someone else is just as easy as signing up yourself. Just make sure to have all medication and your loved one’s current pharmacy information on hand.
How do you deliver medication?
Your medication is delivered through USPS or hand-delivered in a discrete box and will arrive about a week before your start date. Once the package is sent out, you will receive a tracking number for your records. If your medication is lost, we will replace it overnight at no charge.
How do you ensure my pill packaging is accurate?
Your MedBox goes through multiple quality assurance checkpoints. Pharmacists, technicians as well as advanced computer processing to check every MedBox for accuracy, to ensure that you receive the right medications and amounts.
What if my medication needs Prior Authorization?
We work with your doctor and insurance company directly to make sure your medication is authorized. If your prescription requires something from you, like going to the doctor’s office, we will let you know as soon as possible.
I have a VA insurance, can I use AmeriPharma?
We do accept Tricare, however, if you get your medication directly from the VA you would have to continue with them due to insurance restrictions.
I have Kaiser insurance. Can I use AmeriPharma?
We do accept certain Kaiser plans. Please call us to verify. However, if you have a Kaiser commercial plan you would have to continue with Kaiser due to insurance restrictions.
